Diffrent types of massage therapy used within Brandi's massage therapy
- Swedish-traditional style of massage that offers relaxation for the client and increases blood flow and circulation.
- Deep tissue-uses slow movements that target the muscles with more concentrated pressure using slow, deep strokes. This technique targets the inner layers of the muscles and the connective tissue.
- Trigger point- Is a tight area within a muscle that can cause referred pain in other parts of the body. By using a sustained pressure for a period of time 10-30 seconds it helps release the muscle to relax. Increasing healthy blood flow back to the area.
The benefits of massage with chiropractic care is that they both help to balance the body.
Massage works with the muscle and tendons of the body that can be affected by pain and inflammation. Muscles then can loosen and relax.
Chiropractic adjustments reduce misalignments in the spine as well as other joint(s) of the body. Adjustments also reduce pain and inflammation while improving the general fuction of the affected joint(s) and the nervous system.
